Are you currently working in Food Manufacturing / Production or do you have previous experience of the industry? Are you looking to move into your first Supervisory / Team Leader role? Do you want to be paid weekly for a permanent job?
We are recruiting for Team Leader / Supervisor / Coodinator to work in Prep at our flagship site based at Manton Wood in Worksop, Notts.
This position is working Sunday to Thursday starting at 8.30am and finishing at 5.30pm
As a Prep Coordinator / Team Leader you will lead a team of up to 40 prep operatives and coordinate the transfer and correct use of raw materials /stock onsite, from the preparation department going into Production, ensuring traceability is maintained at all times.
Adhering to the customer and product specification, site safety and food standards you will communicate, monitor and action all waste control initiatives.
Leading and developing your direct reports is a key responsibility within this role as is the ability to prioritise, organise and think on your feet.
Other duties include job rotation to reduce health and safety risks and to multiskill the team ensuring all staff are trained and competent operating any of the machines.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience of the Food Industry - ideally in Food Manufacturing / Food Production is essential
Attention to Detail
Accurate data entry skills and the ability to learn IT Systems (training will be given)
Able to work under pressure in a fast and demanding environment
Good communication skills
Maths and English skills - written and spoken
