Job Description:

The Credit Correlation desk is responsible for providing clients with Synthetic Structured Credit products and portfolio solutions. Our team has many responsibilities, including:
  • Making market on index and bespoke tranches, as well as portfolio of credit derivative trades
  • Risk management of portfolio of credit derivative instruments, such as single name CDS, credit indices, index options, tranches, default baskets
  • Create and promote synthetic credit products to various internal stakeholders and ICG's institutional and retail clients globally
  • Build and maintain external dealer relationships with various credit derivatives counterparties
The trader is expected to be involved in all aspects of the desk. Typical responsibilities include:
  • Running and analyzing the risk of the Global Business
  • Working with risk and MQA teams to optimize pricing and risk models, as well as analytical tools
  • Closing the book and predicting/explaining the P&L and Risk
  • Trading Single Name, Index CDS, Options, Tranches as hedge instruments
  • Tracking and Optimizing various Capital and Risk measures
  • Preparing scenario analysis for stress testing various credit derivatives and corporate cash instrument


Credit Correlation is seeking a highly-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a general interest in the credit and derivatives markets.
  • Quantitative background with expert proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in VBA or a programming language is a plus
  • Organized, with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to work in a demanding team-oriented environment
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, to deal with internal/external traders/sales/research
  • 3~6 years of relevant experience
  • Education - Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance and/or Engineering/Science/Math
