Serving as a global center of expertise within Citi Learning, the Leadership and Performance Solutions (LEAPS) team uses innovative social, experiential and instructor-led learning approaches to build learning solutions that develop leadership capabilities, foster professional development, and advance Citi's strategic priorities.

Reporting to the Practice Area Manager for Future of Work, the Inclusive Leadership Practice Area Lead will function as a key member of the LEAPS team and partner to the Global D&I team. The incumbent will connect learning advisors with tools and content to reinforce principles and practices in areas such as unconscious bias awareness, demographic specific topics, mentoring, and career development as well as emerging practices for influencing and supporting Citi's commitment to building an inclusive and equitable workforce. The Inclusive Leadership Practice Area Lead has an overarching goal of ensuring the sourcing, curation, design, and adoption of best-in-class learning solutions in these areas on behalf of our Learning and HR partners across Citi's products, functions and geographies.

Responsibilities include:
  • Topic area expertise
    • Broad and deep understanding of topics related to Inclusive Leadership; support knowledge management and collaboration across Citi in this space
    • Stay current on Citi priorities relative to Inclusive Leadership
    • Continuously scan internal and external landscapes for emerging trends

  • Stakeholder management and advisory
    • Proactively engage with Learning Advisors and business sponsors to understand and advise on requirements for strengthening inclusive leadership and related capabilities at Citi
    • Cultivate relationships with internal subject matter experts to partner, advise and consult on solution development
    • Work closely with colleagues in Citi Learning and other functional teams (e.g., Talent, Global Public Affairs) to ensure learning resources are featured appropriately in campaigns, pathways and corresponding initiatives
    • Build network of peers externally to inform perspective on Citi's work in building the skills, knowledge and mindset required to support Inclusive Leadership

  • Curation and management of learning resources
    • Identify and curate learning resources from both internal and external sources
    • Act as Learning lead for Citi's global programs for diverse demographic groups such as Citi Women's Leadership Development Program (CWLDP)
    • Maintain ongoing relevance and quality
    • Periodically conduct needs assessments, confirming target audience and budget requirements
    • Coordinate 'experiments' with new content or development approaches
    • Identify and develop faculty, as needed
    • Partner with Learning Implementation Services in distributing resources globally

  • Vendor management
    • Have clear view of vendor landscape and the opportunities available
    • Promote availability of 3rd party resources, defining difference between them and advising on offerings to match needs
    • Work closely with procurement to ensure Citi maximizes the commercial opportunities of vendor engagement at scale


Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years consulting and advisory experience in the field of Inclusive Leadership including knowledge and experience of demographic specific learning (positive action programmes)
  • Experience in an HR advisory role in learning and development, talent management, organizational development or related fields would also be desirable
  • A successful track record in leading complex, multi-dimensional projects
  • Demonstrated success at building credibility quickly at all levels of the organization, including senior executives
  • Experience with large, matrixed and multinational organizations is preferred

  • Well-developed consulting and advisory skills, including needs analysis and strategic planning
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Awareness of conceptual design approaches
  • Ability to apply OD principles and findings from market research to inform solution design

Education:
  • Strong academic qualifications
  • Graduate level degree and relevant professional qualifications preferred
