Description

The Global Functions Talent & Diversity Manager is responsible for building, implementing and measuring strategies and programs that strengthen talent management practices, diversity representation and inclusion, and employee engagement together with senior level HR and business leaders. Key accountabilities include the implementation of standard methodologies and strategic initiatives related to talent processes and programs, performance management, leadership planning and diversity across Global Functions.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support global Citi Talent and Diversity initiatives
  • Partner with Senior HR Advisors and Talent & Diversity leaders to develop and execute short and long-term HR strategies to grow, develop, and retain talent
  • Run all process and system related activities: work with corporate HR, centers of excellence including Talent & Diversity, Performance Management and reporting groups on their talent activities; lead the overall analytics for the talent database as well as associated metrics; provide insights and recommend enhanced reporting
  • Own the talent review process timeline and tools, and assess quality in preparing for CEO reviews, Functional talent reviews, Board Presentations and broader reach talent reviews
  • Own the performance management processes and provide insights on analytics, including handling the Multi-Perspective Feedback process, system access management, and in partnership with reporting ensure development of custom reporting as needed
  • Innovate with talent development review meetings, success measures, and technology; provide an innovative approach to address strategic talent topics and ongoing development efforts
  • Design new programs to accelerate development of high potential employees at senior and mid-career levels, to improve the pipeline of high performing professional talent; and engage with leaders and HR in planning and piloting new techniques to develop successors
  • Own the nominations calendaring and process
  • Build diversity action plans to drive diversity and inclusion throughout the organization; lead pilots that support development, representation, and promote inclusion
  • Actively participate in external and internal networks to stay on top of emerging talent and diversity methodologies


Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred (MBA, Industrial/Organizational Psychology)

Experience/Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of Human Resources and/or Talent Management/Diversity experience required (6-10+ years' experience in related work)
  • Self-starter with ability to lead and influence cross-business and global teams
  • Agile learner with capacity to anticipate
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create insights
  • Positive relationship management and teamwork skill
  • Ability to translate conceptual framework to tactical deployment and influence senior leaders on strategic initiatives
  • Experience leading multiple projects and priorities of large scale
  • Technical savvy and familiarity with data management/HRIS
  • Proven verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Flexible and highly adaptable to change
