Operational Improvement Manager

*Permanent opportunity, Birmingham City Centre based
Reporting to the COO and working with Service Line Managers you will be responsible for consulting, advising, leading and delivering on a range of continuous improvement and business process improvement changes around people, process and technology efficiency's and improvements.
The successful candidate will be an experienced change management and programme or portfolio professional, who has led and delivered transformation and will sit within the Operations Hub and work closely with those functions particularly other Operations Managers. The candidate will also work closely with the Service Line Head, Product Heads and other Partners - so the ability to build strong credible relationships across functions is essential.
You will also be responsible for;
*Driving efficiency throughout the Service Line through process h improvements and removal of unnecessary steps.
*Working with Product Heads and managers to ensure the quality of the service provided for the client and customer is to an exceptional standard.
*Identifying and co-ordinating the implementation of key projects across the service line
*Working with managers to ensure that any individual performance shortfalls are identified
*Working with performance managers and fee earners to implement performance improvement plans
The ideal candidate will be qualified in transformation; this could be a project management qualification, change management qualification or ideally Lean 6 Sigma.
Your transformation experience will have come from a continuous and process improvement environment - and you must have extensive change management experience.
The ideal candidate will have a background that comes from either a consultancy, or financial services, insurance, law firm or professional services although this is not essential if your stakeholder engagement skills are highly polished.
You MUST be able to demonstrate, with worked examples, your excellent stakeholder engagement skills across a complex environment and also working with stakeholders of all levels.
