The Sr. eSports Broadcast Production Manager position specializes in professional Broadcast video, audio, lighting, rigging, power distribution, project supervision, content development, Livestream, talent, and team management. The Sr. eSports Broadcast Production Manager supports executive management to foster a positive team environment amongst staff and to provide superior customer service working with clients to plan, deploy and support their eSports Broadcast and Production needs throughout online and live events. This position reports directly to Director of Production and Sales, Jerry Pickering. This position works collaboratively with all other members of the Production team. Essential duties include supporting Immersive eSports Productions, pro-actively and as directed, primarily: Communicate closely and professionally with all Production stakeholders, e.g., clients, technicians and facility managers, to ensure that all technical components are implemented in such a way as to provide solutions which result in an event that meets or exceeds the goals set by the client. Generate, follow-up and document sales leads - submitted through the website, upper management, or via referral - to effectively maintain current clients and secure new clients. Actively produce eSports Events: plan, organize, schedule and supervise crew, equipment and activities required to meet Project deliverables. Delegate appropriate responsibilities to AV Shop and field crew staffs and oversee the execution of delegated tasks. Maintain accurate AR records for Projects in development and work with the Office Manager to ensure Client's compliance with Project contract provisions, in particular, timely payments both pre and post-event. Create and oversee accurate and timely execution of Project Contracts, floor plans, pull lists, timelines, graphics and other content, 3D models, and organization of necessary technical gear and paperwork to ensure superior execution and delivery of Production services within Project deadlines. Ensure all necessary documents are consistent with the Project Contract and that the Production services are consistent with the expectations of the Client under the signed Project Contract. Heavy Equipment: Execute the booking of sub-rented gear, generators, lifts, and any necessary equipment for Project execution. Work collaboratively with other Project Teams to ensure that in-house gear and crew are not double- booked and that resources are allocated appropriately across all Immersive Projects. Work with Project Teams and Clients prior to and during events to ensure the proper staffing and make real-time adjustments as necessary. Follow through on scheduling and supervision of technicians for all Productions using a combination of internal, freelance staff and external staff from various trade unions and contractors. Provide leadership and guidance to Immersive's Shop and Production team members, and assist with the orientation and training of new staff and freelance crew. Perform site visits with internal Project Teams, Clients and/or their customers to determine their individual standards for onsite Productions as it relates to AV Production and technician support. Set-up, calibrate and maintain inventory equipment for audio, video and lighting during Production installs. Troubleshoot and test equipment and network configurations/connections in preparation for meetings, presentations, exhibits and events held in meeting rooms, ballrooms and large exhibit halls. Supervise crew for onsite configuration, setup and tear down of AV equipment, physical configuration, connecting, and interfacing all AV equipment. Provide troubleshooting in the event of equipment failure or system breakdown. Enforce proper treatment and storage of equipment onsite at Productions and in the Shop to prevent damage or theft. Supportive Functions Provide administrative support to ensure efficient workflow and effective business operations, including accurate recordkeeping and compliance with relevant local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Travel between work locations using a personal vehicle. At minimum, candidate has: Specific Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Deep knowledge of eSports broadcast and audio visual equipment systems and set-up, including, but not limited to, video/audio/lighting/computer/networking/gaming peripherals/PC and Game console setups, Multi-stream formats and setups/recording, cabling, switching and best installation practices. Extensive experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager and Technical Lead, particularly pre- production planning for complex eSports live and online events. Professional attitude and appearance. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to work effectively with information management systems and adapt quickly to system changes and updates. Immersive is currently using Salesforce, Flex and Lasso. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to facilitate efficient pre- production planning, post-production follow-up and to manage AV teams during live events. Ability to establish and maintain solid and cooperative working relationships with all persons contacted in the course of work, including outside vendors and contractors such as equipment rental agencies, trade unions and their representatives. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks; to be organized and flexible, able to change course of work/projects as circumstances dictate. Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of hours and shifts as needed, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
