Responsibilities and Qualifications

Vista Outdoor is seeking a HR Call Center Representative to add to our team located in Anoka, MN. Our Human Resource Contact Center Team likes to get work done while having fun and enjoying one another! We also have an established a culture of providing exceptional service to Vista employees in a timely and accurate manner through focusing on quality and continuous improvement in each of the responsibilities listed below.

Contact Center
  • Answers phone calls and e-mails from employees, managers, leaders and HR staff regarding benefits, HR questions, payroll, on-boarding, performance management, reporting, etc.
  • Logs all calls and inquiries into incident tracking system
  • Follows established service standards on all inquiries to meet or exceed performance measurements
  • Follows up with internal and external customers on requests that require research and ensures resolution/closure for each request
  • Coaches end-users on use of online HR technology and self-service

On-Boarding/HR Administration
  • Provides Pre-employment and on-boarding support from time of offer through first day of employment
  • Provides termination and exit interview support, including final pay calculations
  • Conducts additional administrative duties, including SPD mailings, death claims, and other miscellaneous projects

Data Maintenance/Systems
  • Enters HR transactions into HRIS and payroll systems
  • Maintains employees' electronic HR records
  • Provides benefits administration support, including printing and mailing planners and confirms, following up with employees for missing data on planners, COBRA mailings, and Medical Support Order notices
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow up with customers and drive outstanding issue to resolution
  • Strong, proactive communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Workday and ADP knowledge preferred, including previous input skills
  • Web-based technology skills/proficient with computer
  • Prior experience with Contact Center and managing data General HR knowledge preferred (e.g. Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, 401(k), Talent Acquisition, Leadership and Organizational Development)
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
  • Team player with a positive attitude, but also able to manage multiple assignments and work independently within deadlines
  • Familiarity with HIPAA Privacy Rules
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred, or Bachelor's degree
