Kadant Johnson LLC a subsidiary of Kadant Inc. (NYSE:KAI) is seeking to fill multiple positions in the Three Rivers location. Second and Third Shift CNC Machinist

The ideal candidate will have solid machining experience with demonstrated knowledge in a turning center and machining center or multi-tasking machine preferred. The candidate must be able to maintain a balanced work schedule in a demanding job shop environment. The second shift schedule is Monday - Friday 2:30 - 10:30 p.m. while the third shift position begins on Sunday evening with hours of 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma or GED as well as 2-5 years of demonstrated machining experience. Candidate must be able to multi-task, exhibit a professional demeanor and have a team player attitude in a demanding environment. Research &
Development Technician

Kadant Johnson is seeking a hands-on, self-motivated, and mechanically-inclined individual to fill a Research and Development Technician position. The R&D Center is a world-class industrial research facility housing multiple test cells used to perform engineering and customer studies in our Three Rivers location. The R&D Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of duties including setting up and running performance tests, machine maintenance and troubleshooting, report writing and data analysis, installing, maintaining, and calibrating process instrumentation, and operating steam boilers, water and oil circulators, and other mechanical test equipment.

An associate's or bachelor's degree in applied science in a technical field, a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, and the ability and willingness to work in a confined space environment is required for the R&D Technician. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with a hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude. The ability to read technical drawings and prepare technical reports is a benefit. The ideal candidate will have the ability to successful perform well in a team environment.
