Our company headquarter is located in Niederönz (Switzerland). Three additional development and
production locations are located in Gotha (Germany), in Tianjin (China), and in Shenzhen (China).

Head of Global Training for Sales & Services
Due to our strategic direction to deliver best -in -class service experience to our customer and to
achieve our business objectives & strategic goals as World Class Manufacturer we are looking for a
talented individual as our Head of Global Training for Sales & Services. This role will be key to lead
the development, implementation & governance of short, medium, long term plans for training &
education in the Service (& at a later stage for the Sales) organization and for our Customers
Experience Centers of Bystronic Group. The role reports to the Head of Markets.
Development of a full 5 Year Plan with Financial Projections and execute against this
Create, manage and effectively execute on Training Plans to fulfil the needs of the Global
Responsibility for all Training Courses: Content, Relevance, Timings to ensure the fit with the
Corporate Strategy for World Class Service.
Ensure that we deliver training on an agile way, where customer is in the centre of all actions
(increase ownership, mind-set & attitude, behavior change)
Provide quality feedback in a structured way for the development of the teams & individual
Support HR & Head of Service to identify key talents, help develop training plan for their
development with HR
Identify competency gaps within the existing organization and for the future organizations,
create training plans & concepts accordingly
Develop new Training Programs with blended learning to reduce classroom time and increase
Manage the Global Training Team to high values and agreed upon KPI's & targets
Host webinars with Service Team, Customers and Industry Associations
Proactively collaborate with Industry Experts to position Bystronic as the Subject Matter Experts
within our chosen Markets
Using Leading Indicators, improve the Lagging Indicator of NPS
Evaluate effectiveness and propose adjustments to programs to improve performance and
ensure objectives are met
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in learning and development role, ideally in highly
Recent experience in a fast-paced, multinational company, ideally within Service & Sales
Experience in sales & service training or organizational coaching
Experience with learning management systems and e-learning development tools.

Ability to travel regularly, minimum 50%. In particular Asia incl. China will be a focus
Technical background preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering
Strong proven understanding of business and commerce
