International Team Leader

Full-Time - 37 hours per week
Based at the Central Campus, Brighton
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive candidate, with experience of working with international students. You will be dealing with students from many nationalities so it is vital that you have a good understanding of and respect for people from different backgrounds. With excellent communication skills, you will have a good knowledge of UK visa regulations and application procedures; have demonstrable IT skills and proven administrative experience. This is a customer facing role and involves daily interaction with students to provide a high quality student experience.
You will manage the international student application and admission process, and will be responsible for arranging interviews and checking entry requirements. You will ensure smooth induction and enrolment and advise international students on non-academic issues during their stay at the MET.
You will oversee the daily international office operational activities to ensure the services provided to our students are appropriate and to the highest standards.
The post holder will also play a vital role in protecting our Tier 4 sponsor licence by counselling international students through the Tier 4 visa application process and minimising visa refusal rates.
