Great Permanent position open for an Environmental Adviser with good knowledge of COMASH, COSHH and Reach legislation, to come on-board and work for a prestigious Global Areospace company based in Gloucester. Excellent salary on offer as well as benefits. International travel will be required for this role
Knowledge of the requirements of COMAH, COSHH and REACH legislation

Strategic thinker with good persuasiveness and negotiating skills
Detailed Knowledge of Environmental & Sustainability and IMS
Detailed Knowledge of latest ISO standards
Detailed knowledge of EA guidelines
You will need to have a formal degree in Environmental science eg IEMA or NEBOSH.
You will have had industrial site experience, ideally manufacturing.
You will ideally have experience in reporting to the Environment Agency and have experience in being responsible for ISO14001.You also will need Auditing skills.
Ensuring best practice is employed by networking and bench marking comparisons to deliver continual improvement in environmental performance
Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, company and site policies & procedures
Implementing environmental strategies, policies and procedures to achieve measured performance to programme, budget and quality.
Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve environmental management, contributing to the achievement of the company objectives.
Being accountable for documenting all aspects of environmental compliance work to meet legal obligations and support audit requirements
To liaise as required with enforcement authorities to enable compliance with theirs and other legislative requirements.
To advise and assist the business with relevant management systems and operations in order to meet its legal compliance obligations.
To advise and assist the business with relevant operational improvement activities to both meet its legislative and company standards.
