We have an opportunity for a Chef Manager to work in a luxury care home.
As Chef Manager ,you will be responsible for leading the catering team to provide enticing , top-quality, varied and nutritious meals for the residents and staff.
As Chef Manager you will be responsible for preparing all meals within the beautiful home as well as managing a small team. You will need to develop a positive relationship with the residents and staff team .You will also need to maintain a clean, risk free kitchen and ensure that all staff are supervised appropriately. You will also be confident at catering for different dietary requirements and meeting cultural and religious preferences for cuisines.
The ideal Chef Manager will have an excellent knowledge of food hygiene and preparation as well as a positive attitude and desire to deliver the best possible service to the visitors. It is also necessary to have experience leading and supervising a team either as a Chef Manager or Head Chef. Experience working in a community centre, care home, hotel , school , college or hospital would be helpful. Competence at managing and meeting budget requirements is also necessary. We also have an opportunities for peripatetic Chef Managers.
