Deafblind UK is a membership organisation of, and governed by, people who have both a sight and hearing loss. We champion their rights and interests and deliver quality services which give individuals autonomy and control over their lives.
We are very excited to announce our new venture into the retail market and looking forward to joining communities together and supporting even more people with sight and hearing loss. Every penny of profit made in our shops is reinvested to enable the charity to support more people.
As Store Manager you will be leading the way to develop and grow a brand new charity store, offering the best quality products to the local community, engaging with donors, recruiting and managing volunteers/staff and ultimately raising awareness and funds for deafblind UK to enable us to support more people.
To be responsible for the day to day management of Deafblind UK's Charity Shop. To maximise income through the display and sale of donated items. The post holder will be expected to promote Deafblind UK's profile in the local community and to ensure the shop is appropriately staffed at all times.
We are looking for a experienced and driven Retail Store Manager to join our team on our maiden voyage of our 1st retail shop based in Werrington, Peterborough.You will be a clear communicator, able to set goals and targets whilst getting the best out of your team. You will be self motivated and inspirational; your experience will bring ideas to be able to increase sales, volunteers and donations.
Having a similar background in retail management, your hard working attitude will encourage others to succeed and develop. Your experience in visual merchandising will offer a keen eye for detail and your passion to work within the charity sector and make a difference will be shown through networking and delivering a 1st class customer service experience.
