Customer Service Assistant

We are looking to recruit customer service candidates for a new client moving into Basingstoke. We are looking for Customer service candidates who want to work in a fast paced environment, where full training will be given and have the chance to progress.
The customer service role duties will cover -
" Dealing with a high volume of inbound calls
" Establishing the nature of the caller's enquiry and ensuring that all issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
" Logging and updating details onto the CRM system.
" Managing payment queries and ensuring that they are transferred to the relevant colleagues if required.
" Sending out welcome cards to newly registered clients.
" Ensuring completed documentation is filed / scanned on a daily basis.
" Sending birthday cards to contractors on time and on a daily basis.
" Assisting other colleagues with their duties, which may arise during the working day.
To be successful in the customer services role, we are looking for candidates who have the following skill set -
" A genuine interest in helping customers.
" Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
" A polite, tactful and friendly attitude.
" Be patient and calm under pressure.
" Be a team player, but can also deal with independent workloads.
" Has experience with call centre or call centre environments - dealing with a high number of calls.
" Multitasking between calls, emails and document creation.
" Attention to detail when recording information.
" Good knowledge on Office software (Word, Excel and Office)
" Ability to pick up new skills quickly.
In return, salary of £18-£20K
20 days Holiday plus bank holidays.

The customer service role is based on 3 shifts -
8am to 4.30pm
9 am to 5.30pm
11.30 to 8pm
Saturday Working covering calls in the office from 9am to 1pm. (Again this will be on a rota basis and is paid as overtime.)
