If you prefer to actually present your work to a room of people and enjoy the prospect of occasional international travel, this role could be just right for you!

An award business publisher is looking for a Principal Research Analyst, with leadership abilities, to work on client based market research projects where you will present back your findings directly to them using the data and resources you find and that are provided. The successful candidate will implement research projects through engaging with members, creating regular content including unique case studies, analysis articles, blogs and thought leadership across all platforms - membership pages, website, print, social media and network communities.

The right person for the job will have the rigor, analytical ability and personality to be able to present findings on client premises, at international events and through video webinars! Perfect for someone who is comfortable with public speaking. Stakeholder collaboration and engagement is a major aspect of this pivotal role in a newly created, already very successful division. The Senior Analyst will play a major part in business growth through content creation, client engagement and innovative research!

Layout of responsibilities:

This role will be based in a research and content delivery function, specializing in supporting senior strategy leaders, category management and sourcing leadership roles for direct and indirect procurement, and supply chain leaders. Successful candidates will have experience of working with procurement organizations in a content delivery, benchmark, and measurement or consulting practice. Procurement practitioner experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Insights generation:

•Lead procurement expertise; drawing on experience and keeping up to date with the latest developments, research, and emerging trends and best practice.
•Creation of thought-leading research positions for clients.
•Leverage of primary and secondary fact-base to form objective insight leading to the personal creation of content via written, audio, visual mediums - including recorded, and live face to face interactions.
•Be the main contributor to PL deliverables, and respond to ad-hoc client interaction requests in accordance with customer service level agreement.
•Development of research, content, tools and working group strategy to support targeted roles in the procurement and supply chain function.
•Ownership and participation in content strategy to drive target roles' business alignment.

Client Interaction:
•Direct content delivery interaction with membership and extended network.
•Present at global commercial events and awards, membership summits, and 3rd party conferences.
•Respond to client questions and deliver proof of concept for prospects.
•Represent company insights with the industry-specific and mainstream press.
•Sharp focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Attributes, Skills, and Experience

•Minimum 5 years of experience working with Market Analysis , ideally but not limited to procurement or sourcing, or supply chain leaders.
•Demonstrable business, economic and quantitative acumen.
•Flawless writing ability, excellent planning, and strategy skills.
•Ambitious, eager to learn about new approaches and practices, desire to keep a finger on the pulse of the changing Procurement, Sourcing, and Supply chain landscape to exceed the demands of our customers.
•Motivated, organized, critical thinker, with an ability to deliver to fixed time-bound commitments, with high quality
•Analytical, customer, success and growth mindset.
•Team-player, ability to work effectively within your team and across business units.
•Enthusiastic, self-motivated and has the initiative, ambition, and commitment to have a fruitful career in a rapidly evolving company and field.
•Team leadership, people, coaching and development experience, is desirable.
