Software Engineer, Back End - Amsterdam (Hybrid)

Cititec has partnered with an Amsterdam-based clean energy sector market leader to help them expand their Engineering Team!

As a Software Engineer you will get to contribute towards a sustainable future by working on exciting projects such as building new products and optimizing existing solutions. Your day-to-day will consist of solving interesting technical challenges, creating high-quality code, and collaborating to improve products, architecture, and engineering practices.

Ideal Experience Includes:

• 3+ years experience using Java to design, code, test, and debug commercial software
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (preferably GCP)
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and ORM

Nice to Haves Include:

• Experience in performance optimization
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Previous experience with Site Reliability Engineering
