Hours: 14.8 hours per week (0.4 fte)
Working days: Mondays and Fridays
Salary: Up to £13,914 per annum (subject to experience and qualifications). Plus generous benefits. These include:
55 days annual leave pro rata per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)
Generous Occupational Pension Scheme - employer contribution of 16.48%
About the role
The Media and Performing Arts division is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced tutor with practical experience of set design, set construction, set painting and model making to lead on the UAL Level 3 Performing and Production Arts (Backstage Arts) Extended Diploma course.
Candidates will have a range of practical skills and knowledge together with relevant industry practice. You will also have experience of teaching young people preferably at level 3 in a Further Education establishment. The ability to contribute to further aspects of the division in performing arts, music and media would also be an advantage.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, successful, Performing Arts team, with thriving Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance and Backstage Arts courses, and work alongside dedicated and outstanding tutors, in excellent facilities, which include dance studios and the Alan Ayckbourn Theatre.
