Fresh Recruits are working with a fast-growing agency who are seeking an experienced SEO Executive to join their successful team based in Bournemouth.

Overview:

With a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in search, you'll be working on the key client's SEO accounts with a constant focus on the optimisation of their websites both on and off page.

Your role will be largely focussed on the development and optimisation of content in line with keyword strategy, and the development of client's backlink profiles. Your day to day work will involve interpreting performance reports and identifying opportunities for growth, researching and writing SEO copy for clients, and analysing and enhancing link profiles.

Key responsibilities

* To carry out SEO audits to support new client pitches and existing client SEO campaigns
* Support the SEM Manager with the creation of monthly reports for clients and make recommendations for growth
* Analyse organic performance of online content and identify priorities for optimisation
* Plan and implement optimisation schedules on a monthly basis
* Undertake keyword research, track performance and adapt keyword strategy accordingly
* Research and write SEO-friendly content and execute content audits
* Plan and implement the off-site SEO strategy for client's websites
* Identify link building opportunities, develop ideas to acquire backlinks that positively impact organic rankings, building links, and writing articles and blogs
* To increase website rankings and visibility in an ethical manner
* To implement website content changes via CMS, or instruct external Website management teams where necessary
* Keep up to date with the latest SEO updates, techniques and industry changes
* Continuously work to identify and implement further opportunities to drive site performance KPIs

About you

You'll be a friendly, highly motivated and ambitious individual, who enjoys providing input to your immediate team and the wider business. Hard working, driven and with a good eye for detail, you'll also be a team player who can build good relationships with all internal teams.

You will be competent at using Google Analytics and GSC plus a variety of other essential SEO tools, optimising current content and creating new content, navigating various CMS, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. In addition, you will be highly organised, decisive and keen to learn and develop your online marketing skills.

Requirements

* At least 3 years of SEO experience, preferably within an agency
* An excellent understanding of on and off page SEO techniques
* Ability to monitor and report on organic positioning effectively
* Excellent written skills and copy writing experience
* Ability to identify and build quality backlinks
* Understand basic HTML, WordPress, Silverstripe and other CMS platforms
* Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics
* Know how to research, create and optimise content in line with keyword strategy
* Approach work conscientiously and uses initiative to ensure tasks are seen through to the end and any issues are addressed
* Able to work to tight deadlines and be able to handle multiple projects.
