The Role

We have an exciting 6 month, fixed term opportunity to join our team in Adult Social Care Connects - we are dedicated to meeting the many and varied needs of Adults within Essex.
We are looking for people who possess excellent and proven customer service skills with a natural flare for problem solving, through to resolution. You will need to be logical and inquisitive in nature with a keen interest in the Adult Social Care sector. You'll be engaging with potentially vulnerable Adults and their families therefore it is vital that you're empathetic whilst resilient enough to remain calm under emotionally charged circumstances. This can be a pressurized environment, so you will need to possess the necessary coping skills to manage your workload effectively.

Candidates invited to interview will be required to complete an IT assessment. Essential Skills
Previously worked in an office environment
Ability to utilise Microsoft products
Whilst there are no typing speed requirements, you must be able to type to a reasonable level to maintain efficiency
Service provision over the telephone as the majority of customer contact will be through this channel
Fast and keen learner
Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately record all relevant information being shared

Desirable Skills
Experience in Adult Social Care
