Corporate Fleet Specialist

The Corporate Fleet Specialist supports Penske Truck Leasing by working with our suppliers to ensure the production and delivery schedules for new equipment adheres to Penske's compliance requirements. Meeting regularly with key suppliers and transporters to make sure that they focus on the right areas, resolve problems to mitigate delays and communicate with Penske's sales organization on status of their new equipment.
-Work closely with suppliers and/or 3rd party transporters to ensure Penske has the most up-to-date and accurate information on the production and delivery of our new vehicles.
-Analyze production and delivery schedules (Penske's need by dates vs. supplier's capabilities) to identify gaps and work with them to bring back into compliance
-Provide responses and resolve issues timely.
-Communicate Penske needs and expectations to suppliers and/or transporters as it relates to production and delivery
-Daily dispatching and tracking of vehicles during the delivery process
-Keep information in our system up to data and accurate
-Act as a liaison between our field associates and our suppliers and/or transporters
-Work with suppliers and/or transporters to mitigate delays or problems during the build and delivery of our equipment
-Facilitate conference calls/meetings with suppliers and/or transporters as needed
-Administer supporting processes as it relates to production and delivery
-Other projects as assigned by manager and/or director
