The Southern Illinois University Center for Family Medicine is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This position will serve as an integrated care professional at SIU Center for Family Medicine, a Federally Qualified Health Center. The position will work in the general continuity clinic to engage patients at the medical visit, determine the extent of their needs for therapy and/or community assistance and/or referral to psychiatry. This position at times will participate in the counseling of medical students in the second, third and fourth years of medical school. Qualified applicant must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois. Preference will be given to applicants who have previously worked in a federally qualified health center or rural health clinic and have experience with substance use therapy.
