Summary: Assists the EVP Credit Operations in overseeing the Real Estate Loan Portfolio including day to day operations, assigned account portfolio, portfolio stress testing, loan review, portfolio reports and statistical analysis, special projects, staff training and other duties as delegated.. Assists management in making informed credit decisions regarding existing and potential borrowers. Maintenance of underwriting tools for real estate transactions. Responsible for annual loan review coordination, helps in peer review on any credit.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Ensures consistent underwriting philosophy among product lines.. Maintains assigned portfolio of loans.. Coordinates the annual loan review process for qualifying loans.. Qualifies and maintains loans designated for 50% risk based capital.. Enforces covenant violations on real estate portfolio.. Maintains real estate portfolio for covenant tracking.. Performs periodic stress tests on portfolio segments as assigned.. Maintains analysis templates and guidelines as utilized by various departments.. Performs peer reviews of loan presentations for real estate portfolio credits.. Assists in new product development and underwriting tools for Bank's existing and new markets.. Participates in training of new staff. Training to involve all aspects of our credit underwriting process and portfolio maintenance of accounts.. Completes special projects as assigned by Senior Management.. Reviews commercial credit analysis items including, but not limited to, credit reports, personal and business financial statements and tax returns, appraisals, property inspections and environmental reports on loan presentations for approval consideration by the appropriate approval authority.. Understands uses and helps to customize our applications to analyze spreads of a company's financial statements to determine overall credit strengths and weakness of potential commercial credit customers. Analysis includes, but is not limited to, debt-service ratio, current assets ratio, leverage ratios, cash flow analysis and fixed charge coverage.. S.) from four-year College or university preferably in Finance or Accounting. At least five years commercial credit/loan experience or Bank loan review experience..
