This position reports to the VP of Finance - Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations and partners with the VP of Global Manufacturing Operations and his leadership team. This position is responsible for providing decision support for and financial oversight over $8B of Cost of Goods Sold and ~75 Manufacturing sites. This includes leading the financial planning, analysis, consolidation and reporting processes for the manufacturing operations cost pools. The role also drives and supports strategic imperatives including network optimization and cost down enabling margin expansion.. This position has global responsibilities, leads a team of analysts and directs all aspects of financial accounting and reporting to meet business objectives. This role interfaces with and coordinates activities with the Group Ops Finance leaders regarding key financial processes and reporting requirements.. *Position Responsibilities**. Business Partnering. + Primary Partner for theVP of Global Manufacturing Operations and his leadership team on supporting keystrategies and other primary responsibilities including:. + Developmentand execution of the global manufacturing operations strategy. + Oversightfor the $1.2B Network Optimization Strategy. + Definingand leading Manufacturing?s strategy for their role in the Product DevelopmentProcess. + MedtronicOperating System deployment and oversight. + Developing,tracking and reporting key manufacturing metrics. Financial Planning, Reporting and Analysis. + Lead the $2.1B 5-yearCOGS Savings tracking and reporting process. + Lead the annual andlong range Financial Consolidations, Forecasting, Planning, ReportingAnalysis for our $8B COGS pool $2B OPC pool and $300M capital pool. + Establish andcoordinate processes to support tracking and reporting for external non-gaaprestructuring requirements. + Coordinate thefinancial data consolidation and reporting for the $1B Cost of Poor Executionimprovement program. Team Leadership. + Lead direct staff andextended team to ensure fully capable and adding value to business partners. + Apply MOS Principlesin driving and facilitating process improvement across the team while enhancingemployee engagement, inclusion and innovation. + Partner withCorporate Finance Optimization team to facilitate collaboration with group andsite level ops finance teams to drive simplification, standardization,centralization and automation of global operations finance processes. + Provide direction andguidance to ensure completion of organization goals and objectives. *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**. ?10+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience; including a large multi-national corporation (i.e. minimum $1 Billion in revenue) with a bachelor?s degree. ?8+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience; including a large multi-national corporation (i.e. minimum $1 Billion in revenue) with a Master?s degree. ? 7+ years leadership/managerial experience (Functional, Project, team). *Desired qualifications**. ?Degree in Accounting/Finance. ? Exposure to and working knowledge of financial systems. ? Experience in presenting complex ideas and messaging to senior executives on a regular cadence. ? Experience supporting team growth and development. ?Experience creating strategies, defining and articulating clear role expectations and direction. ?Experience attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent. ?Proven experience in achieving results through influence management and motivating teams. ?Experience to build and inspire people, establish trust and lead high performing teams. ?Experience in new business development, portfolio management, Mergers Acquisitions (MA), post-acquisition integration. ?Experience in ERP systems such as SAP and Hyperion. ?Experience in healthcare, medical device, biotech, or pharma industry. ?Global mindset ? able to work across regions and cultures to deliver business results internationally.
