The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

This position is responsible for patient satisfaction, operational and financial performance of all physicians and medical practices in the center of surgical excellence and employed Anesthesia Services.
Develops strong relationships through excellent communication with physicians to gain a deep understanding of individual service needs.
Ensures implementation of the Center of Surgical Excellence initiatives and directs operating policies and initiatives within the assigned practices.
Functions as a partner and advocate for each Business Operations council and creates growth plans, performance improvement work plans, budgets and tactics for assigned practices.
In support of the mission of The Health System, and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for physician services and hospital services, the Service Line Administrator for Perioperative Services is accountable and responsible for implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of Surgical Services programs.
The Service Line Administrator will work in partnership with medical staff leaders, specifically the Medical Director for Surgery Center of Excellence, Anesthesia Medical Director and CRNA Leader.
1.Masters degree in health care administration, business or related area required
2.Five (5) years operational management/leadership experience in a surgical practice or other ambulatory care area.
3.Proven ability to formulate and carry out operational plans for a physician practice.
4.Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and successfully complete initiatives that involve multiple practices and/or departments.
5.Demonstrated knowledge of physician practice financial administration and revenue cycle management for medical offices.
6.Knowledge of legal issues related to physician practices, including employment laws and fraud/abuse rules.
7.Knowledge of project planning and ability to coordinate various projects and activities concurrently.
This is a brand new position and reports to the Director of Physician Services.
This position will be heading up of new Surgery Center of Excellence and Anesthesia Group.

Person needs to be highly motivated and have problem solving/critical thinking skills.
He/she will also work with physicians and team on operations of the clinic, organizational initiatives, call schedules, planning, data analysis, marketing, process improvement initiatives.
The pay depends on experience but the range is between 85K-113K plus a great benefit package and relocation is offered.
