If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.

Responsible for nutrition counseling, nutritional care plans, nutritional assessment and nutrition education programs for a diverse population.
Assess nutritional needs of patients and complete nutritional plans of cares for patients.
Screen and assess patients for nutritional risk.
Complete diet and food drug interaction instructions.
Attend Care Conferences to address patients nutritional needs.
Document nutritional needs of high-risk patients in a timely manner including holidays and weekends.
Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Participates in mandatory in-service meetings (e.g. TB testing, safety, HIPAA).
Registered Dietitian, license in the state of Ohio.
Prior clinical experience required.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety and sanitation practices.
Prior experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy required.
The position is full time 40 hours/week. The position is a day into evening shift.
There is some on-call but only when its there holiday to work which is rotated.
This position is a newly created due to growth and would allow for the division and department to continue to progress through the following projects:
-Community Based Weight Management Program
-Community Based Diabetes & Healthy Weight Neighborhood Watches
-Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP) implementation
-Telehealth Revitalization in Morgan County and expansion of services
The position is offering between 44K-59K. The position offers relocation and a great benefit package.
