This is effectively a standalone role looking after a headcount of circa 80 staff. This is a role where you will have true autonomy in terms of developing processes that are right for the business, whilst overseeing the day to day employee life cycle. Due to aggressive growth plans you must be able to partner with the business in terms of understanding the commercial aspect of how growth affects business, but maintaining their identity and ethos. You will be supported by a wider Group HR team however the day to day HR functions will be led by you, so you will need to take full ownership on this.
My client is passionate about people and always making things better for both employees and customers and so you must be someone who can balance this whilst all the time supporting the business against risk. You must be solutions focused and not be afraid of getting involved at all levels.
You will be involved in the full people remit, from recruitment through to talent and succession planning. To overseeing all Employee Relations issue, policies, procedures and the HR administration side.
People Advisor the Person
You must have a proven background in a generalist HR role
Ideally you will have worked within an SME environment or be looking for a role that offers you a certain degree of autonomy is this is a standalone role with wider group HR support
You must have strong UK employment law knowledge
Be solutions focused and have a passion for developing people and understanding the importance of culture.
