What We Need:

This is a hands-on role so engineering, development and support experience is a must.

To be considered, you must have two years of experience working with Azure and be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of AKS, Helm and associated container based technologies.
  • Hands on platform engineering experience on Azure with a good knowledge of relevant CLI tools, cloud networking and associated technologies/services.
  • Hands on experience of engineering the platform for enterprise production support, monitoring, security, cost, deployment, etc.
  • Excellent IaC skills, in particular Terraform and Jenkins
  • Experience with at least one programming language - Go, Groovy, Python etc
  • Excellent knowledge of DevOps philosophy, methods and principles to software delivery, knowledge of GIT tools and associated methodologies.

As well as excellent technical expertise and know-how, you must:

  • Be an excellent communicator, demonstrate at all times exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be self-directed, motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision.
  • Be a detail-oriented, security conscious, and rigorous individual.
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Be a team player, keen to share knowledge and willingly assist fellow team members.
