Lead Software Engineer, (OOP PHP, CodeIgniter MVC, JavaScript, SQL/MySQL).

My client is a leading independent provider of IT managed solutions with innovation and customer service at the core of their DNA.

With over 50 years of experience, they leverage deep customer understanding and engineering know-how to deliver technical solutions tailored to their customers unique requirements.

They are now urgently looking to recruit a Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in their main development software technologies, which include: Linux (Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu), the LAMP stack (CentOS, Apache, MySQL, PHP), CodeIgniter/MVC, Perl, Bash, Python, ReactJS (desirable!).

They appreciate these skills are hard to come by so the essentials are being a full stack software engineer, having a strong background in developing object-oriented PHP solutions with CodeIgniter MVC, having a good understanding of the web UI layer (HTML, CSS, JS); as well as SQL and/or MySQL.

It is a MUST that you have the ability to be able achieve SC security clearance.

The candidate will have excellent programming experience in some or all of these technologies, and in working in developments using Scrum within a JIRA/Bit Bucket environment. You will lead by example in both designing and writing code as well as co-ordinating and guiding the development team towards successful project delivery. A real step up.
