End-User IT Program Manager

Prestigious IT Security Services Firm is currently seeking a End-User IT Program Manager. Candidate will proactively manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects, including client interaction and expectations. The projects in this role will primarily be focused on infrastructure related projects.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans
• Serve as Project Manager and Account Manager of both major and minor projects while supervising intermediate to senior level staff
• Develop full-scale project plans and project documentation
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support client contracts
• Effectively communicate project expectations to project resources and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables
• Provide leadership, guidance and resolution in responding to project related issues
• Act as an effective liaison between client stakeholders and firm, able to align various resources and capabilities to client project needs
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 7+ years direct work experience providing senior level technology and/or business project management
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other practices
