Credit Risk Management Analyst

SALARY: $73k - $83k 10% bonus


Looking for a candidate who will be identifying measuring monitoring managing and reporting various risks. Monitor ongoing credit worthiness of counterparties and their compliance with the rules and other regulatory requirements excel using lookups and pivot tables to perform data analysis SQL edit queries data visualization tableau power BI SAS Python Bloomberg or S&P Global Markets a plus

  • Ability to read and understand financial statements, brokerage statements, and accounting records
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory rules and regulations related to the SEC/CFTC
  • Excellent organization skills - must be detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Mathematical skills and financial acumen

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel experience using lookups and pivot tables to perform data analysis, and comfortable developing PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficient in SQL, including the ability to write and edit queries to assist with mining and visualizing data from multiple sources.
  • Experience using data visualization software (eg, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Coding skills eg, SAS, Python or other languages, experience with large data sets
  • Intermediate-to-Advanced quantitative, analytical, problem solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information.
  • Experience with systems implementation, including developing business requirements, testing and familiarity with scheduling tools (eg, UC4)
  • Experience using Bloomberg and/or S&P Global Market Intelligence, and the technical ability to connect these tools to Excel preferred

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Risk Management, Accounting, (Computational/Quantitative) Finance, or Economics) or equivalent work experience required
  • 2-4 years of counterparty credit risk or relevant financial services industry experience
  • Master's degree or progress towards a Master's degree (preferably in Risk Management, Accounting, (Computational/Quantitative) Finance, or Economics) preferred
