Java Developer

We are looking for a really experienced, hands-on Back End Java developer who has experience with microservices.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

-Strong Java 8 developer (eg: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, etc.) and knowledge of multiple software dev methodologies

-Strong believer in DevOps

-Strong believer in Agile Development methodologies

-Hands-on Experience with an orchestration tool (eg Kubernetes, OpenShift)

-Experience with Microservices architecture

-Experience with Event driven architecture

-Apache Kafka

-Experience with Continuous integration & deployment based on Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Helm, Kubernetes etc.

Skills and experience that is also good to have for this roll:

-CQRS knowledge/experience (extra plus would be the knowledge of/experience with Axon Framework)

-Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure As Code

-NoSQL database

-AWS (EKS, MSK)

The Consultant is expected to be onsite in Belgium 1-2 days a week.
