Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Project Manager who has a strong background in Audit, Risk or Compliance, ideally from within the Banking Industry.

This is a 12-month contract based in Zurich

Main responsibilities

• Review and quality assurance of measures to improve governance, processes and controls as well as operational efficiency
• Coordinate and support implementation of measures imposed by Internal Audit or regulators
• Establish reports in relation to such measures
• Support in responding to regulatory queries and requests from Internal Audit
• Advise and support Senior management on regulatory and audit topics
• Support Senior management in any kind of special projects
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders in Trust Management, FLDS, Compliance and Risk Management

Your skills:

• 8+ years of experience as an SME in audit, regulatory, compliance or risk and control environment in the financial sector with solid PM experience
• Understanding of audit issues, regulatory requirements, risk and control matters in the financial sector
• Strong analytical skills paired with an ability to see the bigger picture
• Precise written and verbal communication
• Inclination to take on responsibility paired with attitude to get to the bottom of things and ability to push through decisions and findings
• An academic degree in law, economics, business administration or equivalent
