Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Audit Manager/Assistant Manager to join a renowned Consultancy firm to assist with the Auditing during the busy period.
This is a 6-month contract based in Basel
- Working with a project team on audit clients in the international team
- Manage mandates and check consolidated and annual financial statements according to Swiss and international accounting standards (OR, IFRS, US GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER) directly at Customers' sites
- Conduct, among other things, integrated audits of multinational companies or Swiss branches of foreign groups, including reporting to the group auditor
- Analyse essential business processes such as the accounts receivable sales process and carry out process controls
- Support for more complex business transactions, such as corporate mergers or capital market transactions
- At least 4-5 years of external audit experience
- Completed training as a federal diploma Chartered Accountant or comparable training
- Experience in leading employees and enjoy working in an agile working environment
- Experience in project management and in the introduction of new audit tools
- Willingness to look after our international clientele on site throughout Switzerland
- Excellent knowledge of German and English
