Salesforce developer is required by a hugely successful Fintech.

Senior Salesforce developer role would be well suited to someone who believes that they've got both the experience and knowledge to spearhead Salesforce management. You will be working with a team of Salesforce Professionals to grow and establish their Salesforce practice. As Salesforce developer you will oversee designing and implementing solutions through experience working with Apex and Visualforce.

This role would be well suited to someone who is looking for a combination of meaningful work in a high impact and fast-paced environment.

  • Experience within the Financial, Banking and Payments Industry

  • Experience working in a fast-paced high-growth fintech start-up environment

  • Proficient with Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development life cycle.

  • General knowledge of technical concepts, strategies, and methodologies, including architectural and security concepts, systems development life cycle, information management, and portfolio management (production systems, release planning, change management).

  • Domain expertise: have a good technical understanding of the Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud and how business stakeholders use the product.

  • Experience in establishing automated deployments and continuous integration for Salesforce components (Vlocity/SFDX)

  • Software engineering skills with Platform (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Unit Testing)

  • Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and CSS

  • Demonstrated experience with relational databases, Datamodelling, and ETL tools

  • Experience with Services Oriented Design Principles (SOA) and Web Services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML)

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM

  • Experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development

  • Stakeholder management: experience in managing relationships with business stakeholders; a proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring close collaboration with development teams, is especially important.

  • Determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment

  • Participate in the sales cycle as needed (solution definition, pre-sales, estimating and project planning)

  • Work cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Sales Finance, Engineering, and other key stakeholders within the client organisation.

  • Gather, analyse and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end-users

  • Lead customer-driven solutions utilising strong technical design skills and strong working relationships with internal groups

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products

  • Set up development environments on their own and communicate development progress to the client and senior management.

  • Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, controller extensions, triggers, workflows, process builders, and validation rules

  • Develop, test, and document working custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation

  • Ensure service level availability of the platform and integration applications and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues.

  • Follow and understand Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions

  • Utilise best practices to design patterns of best-of-breed applications and perform operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes as needed to the platform

  • Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills
