IT Senior Project Manager
  • Competitive salary
  • Up to 25% annual bonus
  • 80% remote working available (offices are based in Warwickshire)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to drive and deliver complex IT change in line with time, cost and quality criteria, working collaboratively with stakeholders to take technical projects from initiation through to closure.

Creating and owning project plans; acting as the main point of contact for third parties in relation to delivery and proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies in line with internal and external standards, to ensure successfully delivery of projects.

IT Project Managers will provide accurate, timely and relevant management information to drive decision making through defined governance; and communicate with all relevant stakeholders throughout the delivery life cycle.

Ideally you will have:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in change
  • Project Management accreditation including Association for Project Managers (APM), PRINCE2, and/or Agile
  • Experience of successfully leading full life cycle complex technology projects, as well as concurrent delivery of multiple projects
  • The ability to multitask and execute a number of activities simultaneously
  • Excellent skills in relationship building and influencing key and senior stakeholders both internally and third-party delivery teams
  • Significant depth and breadth of experience in agreeing project scope, plans, deliverables, dependencies, and commercial terms with third parties
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Project for planning, tracking and reporting project progress
  • Extensive experience of planning, sequencing and third-party plan reviews
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with experience of summarising large volumes of data into relevant points to drive decision making
  • Extensive experience of managing project budgets and providing financial reporting
  • Experience of resource planning at detailed level
  • Financial Services experience (Desirable)
