Here at Hays we are recruiting for a Business Analysts to work for a housing association based in West Yorkshire on a 6 month contract paying circa £500 per day (Inside IR35) depending on experience. The role is fully remote.
What you will be working on:
As a Business Analyst you'll work across workstreams and projects and/or with defined pieces of work and will be guided by business and user needs, business architecture and project objectives. You'll investigate and understand problems and objectives, explore and agree solutions and turn the solution into implementable and effective business design. You'll also lead and assist with testing and training if appropriate for the project.
What you will be doing:
- To provide end to end process design/delivery at project level and understand the organisation's business strategy and objectives.
- Support Senior Management/Project Managers and Programme Managers with strategic analysis using appropriate analysis techniques.
- Collaborate and identify better ways of working, by investigating and analysing current business situations using relevant investigation techniques (predictive or iterative) including facilitating workshops and sessions.
- Carry out business system and information analysis by making and communicating evidence-based recommendations and produce solution options.
- Design, analyse and document processes in a way that is appropriate for the audience.
- Document current situation findings using relevant techniques and communicating the results effectively.
- Identify and effectively manage stakeholders throughout project lifecycles and effectively liaise between the project team and the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of using qualitative and quantitate investigation techniques
- Appreciation of Waterfall and Agile methodology
- Previous exposure to a continuous improvement methodology with a history of leading and supporting successful projects
- Experience in developing or contributing to business cases and options appraisals
- Experience of assessing, reviewing and documenting existing and future solutions against requirements and making informed recommendations
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite and process modelling tools
- The ability to influence stakeholders able to work with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions and work across all levels of an organisation
- Able to work flexibly, including undertaking travel within the Yorkshire region for meetings when required

You will be working for an industry leading company in the housing sector, in a fully remote role. On offer is a 6 month contract with a day rate circa £500 per day inside of IR35. You may be expected to go into the Yorkshire office on occasion.
