PROCUREMENT/COMMERCIAL MANAGER

Fitzrovia Property Ventures Ltd (FPV) is involved with two prestigious design projects in central London, we are developing two boutique 5 star hotels in Fitzrovia and Westminster.

We are looking for an experienced Construction Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the logistics for all supply chain elements of the build. The opportunity involves working to multi-phased project from summer 2022.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

• Responsible for purchasing all the necessary materials for the construction project
• Sourcing the most cost-effective and appropriate materials for each job.
• Ensuring that the materials arrive on time and within budget.
• Ensuring that the materials meet acceptable quality regulations such as tolerances and maintain stock to an optimal level.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors for better prices, services and delivery deals.
• Oversee the procurement strategy by assisting with creating requests for proposals (RFPs) and the evaluation of bids and tenders.
• Managing the construction procurement schedule in relation to identifying the different items needed to be purchased and ensuring that the materials are on site at the right time.
• Developing the cash-flow plans for the project.
• Co-ordinating the procurement schedule with the project manager
• Identifying any products, services, and equipment to be purchased.
• Verifying the key suppliers for each area of procurement
• Providing prices for all materials included in the project plans and drawings
• Ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations.
• Monitoring and forecasting inventory, determining purchasing needs and identifying costs.
• Establishing quality control and stock levels.
• Managing Procurement budgets and cost estimates
• Compiling and maintaining procurement records, supplier databases and procurement contracts.
