Overview:
The Role: IT Project Manager
The Team: Care Hospice IT is a passionate group of administrators, engineers, security experts, and other technology minded team members focused on providing a positive colleague experience.
As an IT Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Care Hospice organization to identify, organize and deliver on technology initiatives. As a leader in the IT organization, you will:
Clearly document project scope and schedule
Prioritize tasks and assign resources
Collaborate across multiple locations and departments
Drive delivery of initiatives to expected outcomes
Actively communicate to stakeholders

Responsibilities:
Manages or works within a prioritized IT Project Portfolio
Leads IT Projects
Produces project delivery and performance reporting
Curates Project Management documentation and content
Trains IT Team members on Project Management fundamentals
Leads cross functional project meetings
Director resources to critical path tasks and priorities
Produces desired outcomes from IT initiatives
Qualifications:
2+ years delivering IT projects, preferably in a health care environment
Demonstrated and proven track record of delivering IT projects on scope, schedule and budget
Project Management certification preferred (CAPM, PMP)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum projects a plus
Experience managing projects in SmartSheet preferred
Familiarity with secure infrastructure in a Health Care oriented business preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence outcomes through direct and indirect leadership of initiatives and tasks
CMS requires that all patient-facing staff, as well as those that are in contact with patient-facing staff, be fully vaccinated, or have a documented religious or medical exemption. This important rule is required for all healthcare organizations that receive federal funds through Medicare or Medicaid.
