C# .NET Software Engineer - French speaking

As a software engineer, you will be in charge of various projects/tasks in the program and take part in wide range of activities including development, analysis and support to business teams.

Your mission

  • You develop the software supporting the logistics business (mainly the Warehouses and Vehicles Management Systems)
  • You setup communication between current systems and new applications
  • You learn and translate business functionalities into IT-systems
  • You are in direct contact with multiple IT & business teams from Liège and Ghent
  • You are constantly looking for improvements
  • You'll be dealing with the following technology stack: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Rest Api, SQL, swagger, XML, json, log4net, DevOps, TFS, CD/CI, Angular V12, unit and integration testing

Your profile

  • You hold a master degree or similar through experience
  • You have an analytical mindset and are motivated to find solutions for our internal customers
  • You take ownership of a topic by taking initiative to get the job done and you commit to deadlines
  • You are good at documenting and sharing your solutions
  • You're interested in logistics business processes and capable of translating needs into IT specifications
  • You have the ability to challenge customer ideas and find consensus
  • You have knowledge of architectural designs (3 tiers, DDD, microservices) and you master C# language (Angular is also a plus)
  • You are fluent in French and English, Dutch is a plus
  • You preferably have proven experience with large IT projects (as analyst and/or developer)
  • You are sociable and capable of rapidly integrating in the existing industrial IT team.
  • You communicate in an open and respectful way with all stakeholders

Work Location

3 days per week onsite in Mendonk Belgium, combined with work from home (maximum of 2 days per week).
