Overview:

Axient is seeking a Business Analyst to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. 



Responsibilities:

 



 



Perform routine actions such as creating, managing, and maintaining databases, such as SharePoint and shared drive resources, to include but not limited to: tracking status of contract actions/deliveries, suspense dates, training, and reviewing correspondence for correction of deficiencies; meeting organization and preparation, and tracking action items. 



Facilitate a wide variety of reports, and other documents, determining and modifying format, content and frequency from information obtained from staff, files and other sources.



Provide administrative support functions for the government office to include synchronizing calendars, reporting project milestones, organizing meetings, calendar invites, answering phone calls, and conducting travel coordination.



May include monitoring of Knowledge Management Support Tools (KMST), for tracking of time and attendance, educational and training requirements for personnel.



Support technical and management personnel; transmitting documents and data files; providing general support for business meetings and other events, and maintain various organizational databases; tracking performance reports, personnel action requests, providing strategic resource management, file management and tracking data call requests.



Prepare and support budget and financial planning and reporting, and program performance, cost, and schedule analysis.



Prepare and review funding documents (DD Form 448 Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR), DD Form 448-2 Acceptance of MIPR, Financial Requisition Summaries (FRS), and government Purchase Requisitions (PR), for accuracy in accordance with applicable internal controls, Army regulations, guidelines, and audit procedures.



Familiarization with financial Spend Plans and forecasts by month and by CLIN / ACRN structure (i.e. Labor, Travel, ODC, etc.) to include identifying variances affecting project execution.



Experience identifying amount of funds available for de-obligation and determining re-obligation based on appropriation category (RDT&E / O&M).



Ability to recognize and resolve Unliquidated Obligations (ULO) and Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULO).



GFEBS experience strongly desired.



Qualifications:

 Requirements:



Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD security clearance



Bachelor’s Degree or higher.



Up to 3 years of relevant work / job experience.



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).



Experience coordinating and monitoring contract performance.



Exercises discretion and sound judgment. Handles confidential and highly sensitive information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity.



Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
