Java Developer

Java Developer vacancy for a company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Handling the development along with defining requirements, taking architecture decisions and running pre-production activities
• Cooperating on a daily basis with the business in Compliance Competence Center and with other IT departments within Switzerland and other locations
• Being responsible for technical coaching together with applying continuous integration or development and testing techniques
• Practicing agile and XP development paired with providing planning input for IT project manager regarding development and infrastructure tasks
• Collaborating with business-, IT- and testing guides

Your experience/knowledge:

• 8+ years of proven work experience within the field of development engineering projects
• Expertise in Back End development engineering with Java and JEE as well as microservice architecture
• Know-how in Spring framework including SpringBoot, Security, MVC, Batch, Integration and Data
• Proficiency in Continuous Development and Continuous Integration as well as good knowledge in UML design and design patterns
• Finished degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related topic or a different and equivalent education in one of those areas
• Fluent English skills, verbally and written
