Fullstack Java Developer - EU

Job Title: Java Developer (FullStack)
Location: Zurich
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Ways of Working: Onsite
Rate: Above Market Rate

Role:

An interesting role with the possibility to analyse requirements specification, plan and design solutions (GUI, including interfaces to other applications),
Support project estimates and provide planning input regarding solution engineering and software development.
Ensure adherence to application and technology related architectural standards and development policies
Development of Server Side Java business logic and client side Angular components
Prepare and execute unit and system tests including technical documentation of all delivered artefacts Analysis and fixing of defects and test environment issues

Requirements/Skills:

University degree or similar education in information technology or information management
Excellent software engineer knowledge - 5 years experience with full stack Java development
Understanding of Clean Code, Design Patterns, Code Quality and Test Driven Development (TDD) User Interface Development with Angular 9+, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript Recent

Hands-on experience in:
Java EE7: EJB, JMS (MQ Series), JPA (EclipseLink), REST API, SOAP-WS, JSON and XML SQL experience with DB2 (SQL and PL/SQL) and H2 Testing: JUnit Test, Karma Testing and regression tests (Cucumber/Selenium) CI/CD: Maven, Sonar, Jenkins & Liquibase Tools: GIT, IntelliJ IDEA, Atlassian Toolchain (Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence), SoapUI, Splunk

Nice to have:
Spring Boot, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes and IBM JLog Rules, Oracle DB 11g

Basic Banking Knowledge
Well-structured and analytical thinking personality
Good communication skills in English and/or German (spoken and written)
