The assignment is to lead and successfully implement a service management team working in the Enterprise Data Lake Area with teams that are organized in a DevOps way. We need a scalable solution and a SPOC for our platform users. To realise this we are using the ITIL framework for the standardization of the processes.
Within this framework, 5 processes need attention:
- Service Strategy
- Service Design
- Service Transition
- Service Operations
- Continual Service Improvement
We need to make the user journey very pleasant in good times and also we they are experiencing down time or unavailability. Our primary focus in this assignment will be with the Service Operations processes (Event/Incident/Request/Problem/Access management). The challenge we have is that we need to be capable of rolling out our services to Global support, so it needs to be scalable and working under the follow the Sun principle.
This all requires a change in processes and way of work but it is also a cultural change. This task needs to be done in alignment of our stakeholders and users. The team that is helping consists of 3 colleagues of which 2 are working in India and the team is still growing.
- Project management capabilities

- Stakeholdermanagement experience
- Good communication skills (verbally and in writing)
