SAP BW Consultant (BW4Hana Migration Project)

SAP BW on Hana or SAP BW4Hana Consultant required for an initial 6-month contract role (plus extensions) in Belgium. Our client is currently undertaking a migration project to BW4 Hana and as such requires an additional team member to bolster the team. The role will be a mix of onsite and remote working.

Experience required

SAP BW/4HANA or BW on Hana Application Consultant

Able to position the features and limitations of SAP BW/4 HANA

Understanding of leading practices for configuring SAP BW/4HANA

Strong functional process knowledge and an ability to contextualize technology solutions to business users and articulate business value

Full understanding of the features and limitations of SAP's wider Business Intelligence stack

Ideally experience of working in a BW4 Migration project previously

o Workshop planning and delivery

o Requirements & backlog definition

o Report & user experience design

o Data Model Design

o Creation of Functional & Technical specifications

o System configuration

o Build, Test & Deploy phases

Hands-on delivery experience within a major SAP program using either BW on HANA or BW/4 HANA including;

o Data Extraction from SAP & Non-SAP sources & delta handling

o BW4 Data Flow Modelling including advanced DSOs, Composite Providers & InfoSources,

o HANA Modelling & Optimisation

o System monitoring, administration & Process Chains

o Performance optimization

o SAP BW/4 Data Lifecycle Management & Dynamic Tiering

o Strong knowledge of conversion methodologies (In-Place, Shell & Remote Conversions)

o Experience in SAP Finance and Logistics data (SAP Tables, Views, BW Extractors, Function Module and standard reports)

o Good understanding on SAP Extraction and ODP framework

o BEx query design experience including complex key figures & user exit variables

o Experience developing reporting solutions in one or more of the SAP Front End tools including WEBI or, Design Studio

o Project experience on Interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP systems
