IT Supporter - Linux

IT Supporter vacancy requiring profound Linux knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Maintaining, analysing, and troubleshooting applications and partially infrastructure
• Documenting, maintaining, upgrading or replacing software systems
• Supporting user requests related to technical software questions
• Identifying, analysing, and repairing software product failures as well as ordering and replacing parts needed

Your experience/knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Profound knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of applied IT architecture including service architecture and REST/SOAP
• A thorough understanding of network technology and security concepts such as Proxy/reverse Proxy, SAML/SSO, MS Active Directory and IT infrastructure
• Languages: German and English fluent in spoken and written

Your soft skills:

• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Quick perception, customer orientation plus the ability to work in a team
