Lead Automation DevOps Engineer

My client is a global product solution platform supplier looking for a Lead Automation DevOps to join their team working with existing teams to modernise their Build Pipeline.

The Role:

• Design, implement and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for building and testing our products
• Upgrade and maintenance of tests Servers for Windows AD, SharePoint, iManage, etc. in AWS cloud using infra-as-code technologies (Terraform, Packer)
• Troubleshoot build problems

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience configuring or managing build & deploy systems
• (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, Bamboo, etc)
• Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code, AWS EC2, AWS Networking, AWS high availability
• Experience with Unix/Windows Docker
• Experience with configuration management for Unix/Window Servers
• Experience with architecting, building, and running a build and test platform pipeline

Good to have:

• Experience in provisioning tasks through Terraform, Chef, ansible, k8s, etc.
• 4+ years of experience in a high-level language: NodeJS, Java, Python, Go, Apache Groovy,
• Building C++ applications and experience with Visual Studio
• Microsoft Windows Server automation
• Automating reproducible instances for Windows Servers
• Skilled communicator, including:
• Technical Documentation and Architecture diagram creation
• Ability to train peers, teaching mindset
