About the role
We have a superb opportunity to appoint a mid-level Project Manager with our leading financial services client, to drive and deliver IT change in line with time, cost and quality criteria, working collaboratively with stakeholders to take technical projects from initiation through to closure.
In conjunction with the IT Programme Manager, creating and owning project plans; acting as the main point of contact for third parties in relation to delivery and proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies in line with internal and external standards, to ensure successfully delivery of projects.
You will provide accurate, timely and relevant management information to drive decision making through defined governance; and communicate with all relevant stakeholders throughout the delivery life cycle.

Ideal experience:
- 3-5 years IT project management experience
- Project Management accreditation such as Association for Project Managers (APM), PRINCE2, and/or Agile (Desirable)
- Experience of successfully leading projects
- Ability to multitask and execute a number of activities simultaneously
- Excellent skills in relationship building and influencing key and senior stakeholders both internally and third-party delivery teams
- Experience of agreeing project scope, plans, deliverables, dependencies, and commercial terms with third parties
- Experience of using Microsoft Project for planning, tracking and reporting project progress
- Microsoft Excel experience for financial forecasting and budgeting
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with experience of summarising data into relevant points to drive decision making
- Proven experience of managing budgets and providing financial reporting
- Financial Services experience (Desirable)
