Role Title: Green Team Supervisor
Location: Denham, Bucks, UB9 5PG
Salary: Circa £25,000
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours/week)
This charity is looking for an excellent communicator with a passion for the environment who is able to engage and motivate people to participate in their successful Green Teams.
Summary of role: The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and training a team of trainee operatives on conservation works in green spaces around Slough and in Hillingdon.
The Green Teams have a dual-purpose A) To improve the local environment. B) To help disadvantaged, long-term unemployed and vulnerable members of the community to change their lives through accessing training, mentoring and skills support, and get them on the path to employment.
Tasks include identifying, planning, managing and delivering a diverse programme of green space improvements.
You will form part of a friendly and committed team based at the attractive Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre, easily accessible from London, Bucks, Berks, Herts and Surrey.
