One of Nigel Franks customers based in Sweden require a freelance Golang developer for the next 6 months to help with their continued growth. They are a small scale up who specialise in the migration of Data from an on-premise solution to the cloud.

All of their Back End development is written in Go and the Front End is written in React using Ant Design. On-premises data endpoints are S3 compatible. RESTful APIs are used and GitLab employed for code management.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Deep experience in Go
• Distributed solutions
• Containerization and Virtualization
• Software architecture, design patterns and concepts, to know when to use what

Experience in:

• SQL and RDBMS such as Postgres
• Observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• REST interfaces
• gRPC and Protobufs
• FUSE userspace filesystem implementations
• Performance profiling of Go applications
