Principal Data Security Analyst

A prestigious company is on the search for a Principal Data Security Analyst. This analyst will focus on data security, data strategies, Data loss prevention, insider threat analysis, etc. This person will need experience with PowerShell Scripting, DLP, network, and SIEM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, maintain and improve upon current data security strategies and processes
• Assist in the development of information security policies, standards and procedures for Data Security
• Coordination with other teams and business partners regarding data security best practices for both on premise and cloud-based solutions for employees, contractors, partners and customers
• Serve as data security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for incident response program
• Manage and monitor data security compliance to information security policies and standards
• Serve as a data security subject matter expert and trusted advisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of experience in data security
• Experience in developing data security strategies and toolsets
• Working experience with Azure Security Center and Data Loss Prevention
• Relevant industry experience with a technical background
• Ability to find patterns and trends when analysing data
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify variances and implement corrective actions
• Experience with Project Management methodology
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Privacy Technician (CIPT)
